Maggie can you hear me out there where you are?

Can you hear the things I think somehow, or is there any purpose to that now?

Maggie is it over... the misery you knew?

Pain that you could not control, secrets that you never told, and do you take that with you when you go?

 

And have you made your way to some ethereal plane,

Where you have no form, no face, and no name? Will I find you in my journey's end?

 

Maggie I don't understand, nor do I pretend to.

There wasn't one thing of it all, that made a damn bit of sense from start to fall.

And Maggie I get scared sometimes, because I don't trust a thing.

All the unfair things you see, charlatans in ministry, make it so damn hard still to believe.

 

It's been a long time now, but it still feels like the other day.

It's been a long time now, and you're so far away.

And have you made your way, far away from me?
